Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice or noodles
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, sliced thin
- Β½ red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 egg (optional)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar or honey
- 1 tbsp oil (sesame or sunflower)
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and onion, stir for 1 minute.
- Add carrot and pepper, cook 3β4 minutes.
- Push veggies aside; crack egg in the middle and scramble lightly (optional).
- Add rice or noodles, soy sauce, and sugar. Mix well.
- Stir-fry for 3β5 minutes until everything is glossy and hot.
- Sprinkle chili flakes if you like it spicy.
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Cleanup: one pan or wok.
